About Our FOUNDER

Ed Gehres

Ed Gehres is a seasoned business executive with direct C-level executive experience in multiple industries including cannabis and hemp, technology, transportation, and marketing services as well as consulting experience across financial, healthcare, media and entertainment, retail, manufacturing, food, government and military and more.

The sheer diversity of his experience in business is hard to achieve, hard to find, and, for many, extremely valuable. It’s this wide breadth of experience with a broad catalog of measurable successes that led him to form Navvee.

Graduating cum laude from the University of Southern California’s Political Science Honors Program, Ed then attended Pepperdine University School of Law where he focused his legal studies on business and commercial law. Ed was also a Captain in the US Army.

Samuel Baird

Partner

Samuel Baird graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, with an emphasis in mergers and acquisitions, venture finance, and technology commercialization. In addition, to his Juris Doctorate, he obtained his Master in Intellectual Property Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology. While attending school, Samuel successfully built a six-figure consulting business and understands the unique challenges any business owner may face.

Samuel has spent the last decade helping startups and mid-size business structure their intangible assets for seed and series funding, along with mergers and acquisitions.

Samuel has played a critical role in multi-million-dollar negotiations and acquisitions as an attorney for business sales, land-purchase agreements, patent licenses, and mergers and acquisitions within almost every industry.

Utilizing this one-of-a-kind experience and education, he can find the hidden value in any transaction, no matter the size of the company. Samuel is extremely experienced and qualified with regard to valuation, financing, and creative-deal structuring. He prides himself on his negotiating skills and being able to bridge the gaps that lead to successful transactions.

Leveraging his experience as an attorney, he quickly identifies and resolves any potential areas of risk, to allow a transaction to close fast and efficiently. Samuel is familiar with valuing, marketing, and selling businesses that range in value from as little as $100,000 to as high as $50 million. In the last 10 years, Samuel has developed a close and ongoing relationship with various private equity and venture finance groups.

Samuel has over 10 years of experience owning, valuing, marketing, and selling businesses. Samuel brings experience and integrity to business brokerage and business consulting.

Chantelle Wehbe

Legal Assistant

Chantelle Wehbe serves as a Legal Assistant, bringing a comprehensive background in legal support and client services to our team. Her expertise encompasses client communication, settlement management, and the setup of Registered Agent Services, where her precise and methodical approach ensures accuracy and reliability.

In her capacity as Deal Flow Manager, she adeptly identifies and facilitates strategic client opportunities, simplifying acquisition targeting. Chantelle’s experience also extends to financial services, where she has effectively managed mortgage loan transactions, prioritizing thoroughness and client satisfaction.

Her organizational skills are further evidenced by her past role as an Event Service Coordinator, where she successfully delivered well-organized events. With a decade of experience managing a call center, she has a proven track record in client relations and issue resolution.
