1. DocEval – For a set fee, we conduct a preliminary review of your contract or document, providing an assessment of its viability and estimating the work required to make it signable.

2. DocReview – If you proceed, we redline the document with a focus on fairness and clarity. You are charged based on actual edits made, not by the hour.

DocEval

A DocEval is a preliminary assessment of a document’s suitability for its intended purpose. This stage does not involve editing or redlining; instead, it focuses on intent, feasibility, and required revisions.

Process:

1. Sign up for DocEval and submit your document.

2. We discuss your goals via call, email, or text to understand your needs (this service can also be used to evaluate a document you’ve drafted before sharing it).

3. We conduct a high-level review and provide an email assessment outlining whether the document is viable, requires minor edits, or is unsuitable for your needs. The assessment includes an estimate of the number of pages requiring redlining.

4. If revisions are needed, you can proceed to a DocReview project.

DocReview

Once a DocEval is complete, DocReview focuses on making necessary edits. We charge per edited page—if no changes are required on a page, you don’t pay for it. Minor edits (one or two per page) are grouped and billed accordingly.

Process:

1. You must have completed a DocEval or be engaged with Navvee under a service package that includes one.

2. Provide an editable MS Word version of the document (or a format easily converted to Word).

3. Using MS Word’s redlining feature, we refine the document to protect your interests and ensure a balanced agreement. Once reviewed, the edited document is ready for use.

4. If the other party proposes further changes, we continue refining with the same per-page pricing model. We also facilitate discussions with the other party’s attorney to minimize unnecessary revisions, ensuring the editing process doesn’t delay a beneficial deal.
